From the ATO:

1. The online business portal will soon be replaced by their “online services”. It will have the same features as the Portal and will allow you to create payment plans, lodge your BAS, obtain copies of income tax returns and any correspondence between you and them. Read about making the switch to the new service.
2. From January 2022 Single Touch Payroll will provide additional information to reduce the amount of information you now supply to multiple Government departments. Most of what is required will be done by your software company. The ATO will release more details of what YOU are required to do later in the year. Update yourself on what’s happening now.
3. For many of us, our RAM (Relationship Authorisation Manager) will be coming up for renewal. Make sure you’re current, otherwise you’ll need to go through the whole set up process again.
4. Eligible employers can claim the JobMaker Hiring Credit. Find out more about whether you’re eligible and claim periods here.
